Brych and Hussein honored as a referee of the year

Felix Brych has been honored for the fifth time in his career as Germany's referee of the year. As the DFB announced on Saturday, the award of the Munich, who had finished his international career after the European Championship in the summer training camp of the Elite referee in Grassau am Chiemsee. In the women, Riem Hussein (Bad Harzburg) was named for the fourth time.

Brych had set up a tournament record at the pan-European European Championship with five missions and thus crowned his international career. The 45-year-old had been awarded the best German referee in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2018.

Hussein, which in May conducted the Champions League final of women between FC Chelsea and the FC Barcelona (0: 4), received the national award in 2013, 2016 and last year.
