This Star Wars the Mandalorian fan game seems too good to be true
The Mandaloriano could be the most important thing that has happened to Star Wars from The empire counterattack, but unfortunately the series has not yet received its own video game. There have been rumors about a project, and a new amazing video that appeared online seems to have deceived some making them think that this is real. However, Jack Chapman of Sumo Digital has indicated on Twitter that this seems to be a project of Unreal Engine 4 made using a package called ALS. Regardless of its authenticity, it is great, and the program fanatics will definitely want to watch the video at the top of this page!
There are many interesting details that make this video feel like an authentic version of the Disney + series. From the different selections of chapters, until the use of music music, the creator of the video was beyond creating something that fans would really want it to be real. The game itself is something similar to that seen in 2002. Star Wars: Cazarrecpes, which would be a great title to use as inspiration for a game based on The Mandaloriano.
Despite the authentic it seems, there are a couple of small signs in the video that this is not an official product. In particular, the Grogu image used in the title screen is something different from the official key art of the program. Baby Yoda is slightly different from the appearance of the character in the series and the way it is represented in most of the media outside the program. It is a minor detail, but it protrudes.
Unfortunately, fanatics will have to keep waiting to see an advertised official game based on The Mandaloriano. The elements of the series have been incorporated into existing games, from the style of the board in _star wars: squadrons, to a statue of Grogu in The Sims 4. While these small inclusions are great for the fanatics of the program, it is not as interesting as a complete game based on The Mandaloriano. Hopefully, rumors about an official game based on the series will be true!
