Half value time: Alyx update adds continuous turning and error corrections


Improvements in the dissolution of stickers and other corrections are also included.

Valve has a new update for published ease of half-life: Alyx_, it is critical VR follow-up in the series. This update adds a continuous rotation that pursues its movements more accurately in real life. It is the extra immersion, in addition to you need to remove a head crab physically from your face.

Further changes introduced with the update include renaming Quick Turn in Snap Turn, the option to deactivate the tension with the controller and rotary speed options for continuous rotation. You can also expect improvements in several areas, e.g. B. better hand-over-mouth pose usability for Windows MR controller. The dissolution of impact decals on enemies has also been improved.

Interestingly, it has recently been found that the game can be played without VR headset. More information can be found here. However, an official non-VR-mod or mods still need to be published to ensure the smoothest possible experience.
